STATUS 2015

A significant expansion of the Laboratory assortment, and a very successful presentation at the Achema Fair in Frankfurt. A new catalogue concept was introduced for Laboratory glassware and tubing.

STATUS 2014

The new "Kavalier Design" project was introduced at the Ambiente Fair, which was created thanks to the cooperation of young designers from DACHEM Studio. The Kavalier Design project was mainly popular due to the new product offering of light fixtures.

STATUS 2013

The laboratory glass production was expanded with the addition of a new square reagent bottle. The household glass assortment was enriched with new pressed glass products in the Exclusive line designed by Mr. Hartmann: Smart Touch. The bestselling rectangular roaster won the Grand Design Award.

The optimization of the household glass assortment also lead to new packaging concept which divided the SIMAX line into 4 classes: Collection, Exclusive, Decor and SIMAX for Kids. Establishment of the company in the US

The Kavalier Glassworks, formerly a state-owned company, was privatized and transformed into a joint-stock company on December 1.

STATUS 1983

At the beginning of the 1980s the Kavalier Glassworks was awarded two prestigious jobs calling for technical and manufacturing mastership. The first one was the production of facing tiles for two metro stations on the B line in Prague. The second one was for the New Stage of the National Theater in Prague.

The process of continuous technology improvement was started, and second-generation machine production was launched

The second phase of reconstruction and improvement of the glassworks started, technology of electric glass melting was launched, and SIMAX heat-resistant household boiling molded and blown glass was introduced to the market.

Dr. Volf developed laboratory boiling borosilicate glass branded SIMAX, fully compatible with the world glass of the 3.3 grade
