Until 20 September 2026, the State Museum of Glass and Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou is hosting the exhibition Borosilicate Glass, which is part of the anniversary 10th edition of the International Triennale of Glass and Jewellery JABLONEC 2026.

The exhibition presents a representative overview of contemporary borosilicate glass production and offers both professionals and the general public a unique opportunity to gain insight into contemporary Czech glassmaking and be inspired by the connection of tradition, technology, and creativity.

KAVALIERGLASS, a.s. is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of borosilicate glass. The company’s history dates back to 1837, when the first Svatoprokopská glassworks in Sázava was established, and it has been inseparably linked with the Kavalír family, after whom the company is named.

The product portfolio includes glass tubing, rods and capillaries, laboratory, technical and industrial glass, including complete apparatus systems. An important part of the production is also household glassware – from baking dishes, pots and storage containers to the iconic tea and coffee kettles. The products are marketed under the company’s own brands, SIMAX and KAVALIER.
