Ingredients:

  • 450 g salad cucumbers
  • 2 limes
  • 50 semolina sugar
  • 100 ml elderflower syrup
  • handful of fresh mint

Procedure:

Wash the cucumbers well and cut them into long thin slices using a scraper. Squeeze the juice from one lime, wash the other one well and cut it into slices.

Place the cucumber slices, juice and lime slices in a large jug with a sieve filled with ice. Pour over about 2000 ml of water, add the sugar and elderflower syrup and stir well.

Finally, stir in the mint leaves torn from the stems. Serve the finished cucumber lemonade chilled.
