This hand blown glass pan lid is made from high quality borosilicate glass SIMAX. Every cook will appreciate its practical use.
During preparation of the meal by using the standard lid is on that lid condensed steam
that flows down back to the prepared meal. Condensed steam comes into contact with hot
fat and it splashes. Especially dangerous could be injecting of the hot fat into the unprotected
eye. Actually this definitely cannot happen when you use our special pyramidal lid SIMAX.
On the other hand, when you use pyramidal lid SIMAX during cooking the condensed
steam comes into groove that is situated on the bottom of that lid. Thus, it is prevented
from falling down of the condensed water back to the prepare meal and as well as
it is prevented from the possibility splashing of the hot oil.
It is approved for food contact both in household and professional premises.It is easy to wash and dishwasher safe. It is controlled according the Health and Safety regulations of Czech Republic by an independent authority. It is made from glass containing no Cadmium or Lead. Please let it cool down slowly and wash with non abrasive materials.
